Anforderungen

  • Medical Doctor (MD) with Board Certification
  • Considerable experience in industry and/or clinical oncology therapeutic areas
  • Significant leadership experience within a Local Operating Company (LOC) or prior regional/global medical affairs experience
  • Broad drug development experience with knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory requirements, and market access processes
  • Proven expertise in implementing Expanded Access Programs (EAPs)
  • Experience in global or regional medical affairs, including lifecycle management and launch readiness
  • Ability to navigate promotional codes/regulations and ensure compliance in medical activities
  • Strong ability to build internal and external networks, fostering collaboration and trust
  • Experience working in matrix cross-functional teams, across time zones, with willingness to travel
  • Understanding of regional healthcare systems and reimbursement processes
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical ethics, governance, and compliance policies
  • Oncology specialty training or translational research PhD in oncology
  • Strategic capability and business acumen, with a track record in optimizing asset readiness and launch success
  • Expertise in oncology therapeutic areas with demonstrated pipeline readiness and lifecycle management experience
  • Strong leadership skills, with a focus on building high-performing teams and fostering an inclusive environment
  • Proficiency in leveraging digital tools and AI technologies to enhance medical strategy and engagement

Deine Aufgaben

  • Lead the development and execution of the Regional Medical Affairs Plan for pipeline assets
  • Coordinate resources, training, and stakeholder engagement strategies for new therapeutic areas
  • Deliver key above-country medical initiatives, including advisory boards and medical education events
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize launch strategies for pipeline assets
  • Engage scientifically with healthcare professionals, patients, payors, and regulators to identify unmet needs
  • Align evidence generation plans with asset development and launch priorities with R&D colleagues
  • Gather and analyze medical insights to refine evidence strategy and global medical affairs plans
  • Oversee global clinical trials planning and Expanded Access Programs implementation in the EU
  • Develop and disseminate scientific publications, abstracts, and posters in line with the Data Dissemination Plan
  • Plan and coordinate regional congress activities for pipeline assets, supporting local execution
  • Ensure congress activities align with medical strategy and comply with governance processes
  • Collaborate with R&D, commercial, access, and regulatory teams to align medical strategies with brand campaigns
  • Address healthcare system and reimbursement challenges with market access teams for patient access
  • Provide medical governance oversight for pipeline assets, managing product-related safety issues
  • Build credibility with external stakeholders through scientific engagement and understanding of healthcare systems
  • Coordinate internal scientific training with the Global Medical Affairs team and R&D
  • Share best practices across LOCs to enhance tactical plans and support launch excellence
  • Foster a high-performing team culture focused on innovation and collaboration
  • Inspire and mentor team members in medical strategy execution and scientific communication
  • Embed GSK’s values of Patient Focus, Accountability, Courage, Development, and Teamwork into daily activities
