Anforderungen
- •Master's degree or equivalent relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- •Demonstrated experience in mechanical design, integration, and installation of large-scale assemblies using CAD software
- •Proven ability to perform detailed complex mechanical simulations using FEA software
- •Strong organizational skills in project management
- •Experience in tooling design for handling or positioning heavy and delicate components
- •Design and analysis of mechanical structures
- •Integration of mechanical systems
- •Knowledge of design codes and compliance verification of mechanical equipment
- •Proficiency in Catia V5 or equivalent 3D modelling software
- •Knowledge and application of numerical modelling applied to mechanics
- •Structured and organized approach towards work
- •Initiative beyond regular tasks
- •Willingness to work on different projects simultaneously
- •Spoken and written English, commitment to learn French
- •Valid driving licence

Deine Aufgaben
- •Model and simulate mechanical movements
- •Define and document installation methodology for the CMS HGCAL detector
- •Design and specify dedicated tooling and handling systems
- •Define technical specifications for mechanical interface components
- •Validate nominal detector position and define mechanical tolerances
- •Interface with the Survey team to define survey strategy
- •Contribute to the follow-up of the heavy lifting contract
- •Validate documentation and supervise manufacturing activities
