Anforderungen
- •Familiarity with CAD software, FEA tools, and technical documentation practices

- •PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience
- •No previous CERN fellow or graduate contract
- •Interventions in underground installations
- •A valid driving licence

Deine Aufgaben
- •Fabricate and prepare new magnet cryo-assemblies for installation
- •Manage component supply throughout the project
- •Assess needs and adapt to scope and schedule changes
- •Maintain component lists and technical documentation
- •Coordinate procurement activities across multiple suppliers
- •Address disruptions, delays, and non-conformities
- •Develop assembly procedures and inspection plans
- •Create bills of materials (BoMs) and tracking documentation
- •Review and update engineering documentation for accuracy
- •Support technicians and quality assurance teams on-site
- •Assist in resolving technical issues during assembly
- •Document process changes and lessons learned
- •Interface with other project teams to coordinate activities
- •Perform thermo-mechanical analyses using analytical methods
- •Enhance cryostat performance and improve tooling
- •Apply relevant engineering codes and standards
- •Ensure compliance with CERN safety and quality procedures
