Anforderungen
- •Ability to perform load calculations and structural checks
- •Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) and finite-element tools
- •Ability to create clear manufacturing drawings and as-built documentation
- •Demonstrated experience in Mechanical design and FEA simulation (ANSYS)
- •Experience preparing technical specifications and performing quality checks
- •Familiarity with heavy lifting operations and vendor coordination
- •Experience coordinating meetings and documenting project progress
- •Design and analysis tools: CATIA & ANSYS
- •Analytical calculation according to applicable standards (Eurocode)
- •Strong organisational skills and supplier management
- •Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with teams and vendors
- •Skilled in technical reporting and documentation
- •Spoken and written English, commitment to learn French
- •Nationality of a CERN Member or Associate Member State
- •Maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation
- •No previous CERN fellow or graduate contract
- •University degree required
- •PhD not eligible
- •Valid driving licence

Deine Aufgaben
- •Lead the design of a reinforced passage bridge
- •Procure materials and oversee on-site implementation
- •Act as the technical coordinator for the bridge project
- •Manage the full lifecycle from concept to installation
- •Support heavy lifting operations for HL upgrades
- •Produce detailed mechanical and structural designs
- •Prepare procurement packages and select suppliers
- •Monitor manufacturing progress and ensure compliance
- •Supervise installation activities in UXC55
- •Coordinate with CERN teams and external contractors
- •Ensure installation meets specifications and safety requirements
- •Develop a complete 3D scenario for the HL sequence
- •Perform clash detection and validate operations
- •Produce and maintain technical documentation and reports
