• •Build and implement a 3-year global sourcing strategy for the aluminium can category
• •Demonstrate leadership with the cans category team across regional procurement organizations
• •Maintain key category information, including supply fundamentals and cost models
• •Anticipate and mitigate category supply risks to ensure business continuity
• •Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• •Ensure category training and share best practices with the regional category team
• •Identify opportunities for cost reduction and business growth through innovation
• •Provide market insights and support hedging recommendations with the Treasury team
• •Develop an optimized supplier portfolio by evaluating technologies and reducing complexity
• •Lead global and regional tenders and negotiations for large expenditures
• •Negotiate and manage supply agreements within the category sourcing strategy
• •Ensure early procurement involvement in innovation and renovation projects
• •Drive reduction of Scope 3 carbon footprint for the category
• •Track benefits and communicate category development results to management
• •Accountable for achieving category savings targets and budget delivery
• •Lead Supplier Relationship Management efforts for the category
• •Define competitive contracts for the category
• •Drive e-procurement initiatives and standard sourcing practices
• •Provide expertise to colleagues and maintain collaborative relations with key stakeholders
