Anforderungen
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Law, or relevant field
- Minimum eight years HR-relevant professional experience in medium to large organization
- Substantive focus on job grading
- Experience in academic research environment is a plus
- Experience leading or coordinating HR projects
- Job architecture and job evaluation frameworks experience
- Compensation analysis and pay structure design experience
- Salary benchmarking and analysis of large compensation datasets experience
- Time and attendance tools and regulations experience
- Knowledge of structured job evaluation methodology
- First experiences with EU Pay Transparency Directive preferred
- Solid knowledge of Austrian labor law
- Pragmatic mindset for translating HR methodology into practice
- Strong analytical mindset
- Confidence to handle complex datasets
- Advanced Excel or equivalent tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German
- Discretion and confidentiality handling salary data
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to deliver from an early stage
Aufgaben
- Review and develop a grading structure with departments and works council
- Coordinate and lead job grade evaluations and job description reviews
- Support readiness for Directive (EU) 2023/970 on pay transparency
- Analyze compensation data for pay dispersion, grade compression, outliers, and equity gaps
- Present compensation analysis findings as an evidence base for decisions
- Support HR projects, such as optimizing Time and Attendance procedures and tools
- Deliver internal training on grading, compensation, and HR policies
- Provide HR operations support during peak workload periods
- Design and lead projects end-to-end, including scope, phases, milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies
- Maintain a clear project plan and reporting rhythm
- Prepare materials for and support decision-making
- Coordinate relevant stakeholders across departments
- Adapt HR practice to IIASA's specific needs
- Develop relevant project documentation
- Translate project documentation into formal HR policy
