- •Analyze local category and indirect material spend
- •Examine market dynamics and price developments
- •Evaluate demand versus supply dynamics
- •Conduct benchmarks with other hubs
- •Perform SWOT analysis for emerging market sources
- •Define and optimize the sourcing strategy
- •Align sourcing strategy with key stakeholders
- •Communicate strategy updates regularly
- •Run tender/order specific RFx and negotiations
- •Qualify and negotiate with suppliers
- •Allocate volume and monitor Frame Agreements
- •Sign and oversee Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- •Represent the voice of the customer during supplier audits
- •Control costs through spend analysis
- •Promote cost breakdown analysis and should costing
- •Run regular benchmarks to assess costs
- •Oversee supplier relationships and qualification
- •Manage supplier classification and performance
- •Implement performance improvements for suppliers
- •Monitor material availability and supply base resiliency
- •Ensure risk mitigation plans are up to date
- •Collaborate with other functions on project execution
- •Support initiatives to enhance total cost of ownership
- •Contribute to risk mitigation, quality, and lead time improvements
- •Assist in new product introduction and technology transfer
