Professorship in Business Administration, specializing in Insurance Management(m/w/x)

In this role, you will teach business administration and insurance management at both bachelor's and master's levels while engaging in applied research. You will also network with industry professionals and collaborate with international universities, sharing your expertise with students.

Anforderungen

• •University degree in economics or related field
• •Special aptitude for academic work, usually demonstrated by a qualified doctorate
• •At least five years of professional experience
• •Teaching aptitude and ideally experience in university teaching
• •Ability to conduct application-oriented research
• •Desirable additional skills
• •Training as an insurance and financial investment clerk or insurance clerk
• •International professional experience
• •Experience in acquiring and implementing third-party funded projects
• •Experience in programme management and/or examination boards
• •Ideally, experience in designing and implementing research projects
• •Very good didactical skills and willingness to participate in exchange with international partner universities
• •Committed participation in teaching basic subjects and possibly giving lectures
• •Integration into the existing team both professionally and personally
• •Intensifying and expanding collaborations with universities and research institutions
• •Active participation in the university’s research activities
• •Striving to increase third-party funding and cooperative doctorates
• •High level of presence of teaching staff at the university campus
• •German language skills at least level C1 and English language skills
• •Teaching language mainly German
