- •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, life sciences, statistics, informatics, or related field
- •Minimum of 12 years of clinical data management experience
- •Proven ability to lead data strategies across complex studies or programs
- •Strong expertise in CDISC standards, regulatory requirements, and clinical data systems
- •Experience mentoring and developing team members
- •Ability to operate independently and manage cross-study resource planning
- •Respect for cultural differences in a global workplace
- •Master’s or advanced degree in a scientific or technical field
- •Experience overseeing a molecule or disease area data portfolio
- •Familiarity with adaptive trials, novel data sources, or digital health technologies
- •Understanding of clinical development end-to-end data flow and system architecture
- •Track record of functional process improvement or capability-building initiatives
- •Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in clinical governance settings

- •Oversee data management execution across a molecule or disease area
- •Ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery of DM products
- •Review and approve data strategies for studies
- •Design databases and plan data flow
- •Oversee vendor management
- •Serve as an escalation point for complex study-level issues
- •Enable cross-study data integration and readiness for analysis
- •Guide study-level data planning using knowledge of data standards and regulatory expectations
- •Support inspection readiness and regulatory submission planning
- •Drive process optimization and adopt innovative tools to improve data quality
- •Lead and develop a team of Data Managers across multiple studies
- •Set clear goals and performance expectations for team members
- •Manage team workload and capacity planning based on program complexity
- •Foster collaboration and information sharing across study teams
- •Represent data management in molecule-level and DA-level forums
- •Align data management with clinical and data science strategies
- •Role-model effective leadership behaviors and coach team members
- •Demonstrate Roche’s Leadership Commitments and Pharma Operating Principles
- •Support the development of the PDD talent pipeline through training and mentoring
