Anforderungen
- •Background and/or interest in automation and control
- •Strong problem-solving and technical communication skills
- •Some experience in Siemens and Schneider PLC platforms or willingness to learn
- •Knowledge and experience in industrial communications protocols
- •Proficiency in Python
- •Some experience of PLC programming using IEC-61131 languages or willingness to learn
- •Knowledge of Continuous Integration based on Gitlab CI
- •Initial experience in C#
- •Spoken and written English or French with commitment to learn the basics of the other language
- •Maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Software Engineering and IT or related field

- •Develop and maintain the UNICOS-CPC resource package
- •Support standardized PLC code generation for Siemens and Schneider PLCs

- •Evaluate new automation technologies for future controls at CERN
