Anforderungen
- •Deep expertise in technological innovation trends in Drug Discovery or Biotech
- •Proven track record in leading innovation and technology development in biotech, pharma, or academia
- •Experience managing complex projects and multidisciplinary stakeholder environments
- •Strong financial acumen and experience with project-based ownership for ROI, budget management, and resource planning
- •Strong partnership development experience in co-innovation and strategic collaborations
- •Excellent ability to translate scientific/technological innovation into commercially viable solutions
- •PhD or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, AI, or a related field
- •Forward-thinking with market shift anticipation and proactive opportunity capitalization
- •Ability to develop and execute Innovation platform strategies aligned with organizational goals
- •Solid understanding of commercial strategies for business success
- •Genuine interest in customer needs and feedback to identify innovation opportunities
- •Effective collaboration and integration of feedback for continuous improvement and innovation
- •Effective delegation and strategic thinking in problem-solving

Deine Aufgaben
- •Define and execute the Next Generation Platforms strategy
- •Monitor selected Innovation programs and present them to the Innovation Board
- •Lead the development and integration of advanced biological, digital, and computational platforms
- •Oversee the transition of innovations from proof-of-concept to scalable solutions
- •Represent Evotec in external collaborations and thought leadership forums
- •Align innovation efforts with customer needs and commercial opportunities
- •Drive co-development partnerships with biotech, pharma, and academic institutions
- •Collaborate with Therapeutic Area Heads to tailor platform innovations
- •Ensure integration of Next Generation Platforms into drug discovery workflows
- •Establish a scouting and ideation team to assess innovation opportunities
- •Develop and manage the investment roadmap for Next Generation Platforms
- •Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for platform investments
- •Establish KPIs and success metrics to track innovation impact
- •Lead a team to identify and initiate next-gen innovation technology projects
- •Build multi-disciplinary teams for executing technology projects
- •Ensure technology projects are handed over to Operations when validated
- •Design and lead the Innovation Board for R&D budget investments
- •Implement a structured process for proposal submissions
- •Prepare and facilitate quarterly Innovation Board meetings
- •Summarize outcomes and track follow-ups for accountability
- •Ensure alignment and communication of IB decisions with relevant functions
