Cost Value Engineering Manager(m/w/x)

As a Cost Value Engineering Manager, you will lead projects to analyze supplier costs and identify savings opportunities. This role involves conducting audits, facilitating workshops, and supporting strategic sourcing decisions to enhance product value.

Anforderungen

• •Academic degree in Engineering, Mechanics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or similar
• •Professional work experience in costing or costing related functions
• •Multiple years of professional experience within automotive industry, ideally in quality and engineering, advanced purchasing, category purchasing, tool management, cost management, and/or manufacturing planning
• •Deep understanding of product cost structures, manufacturing technologies, and value chains
• •Proven expertise in Target Costing, Design-to-Cost, Design-to-Value, Benchmarking, and Cost Auditing
• •Strong skills in cost calculation methodologies, cost modeling, and market analysis
• •Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management abilities between Engineering, Purchasing, and Finance
• •Experience in method development, process optimization, and change management in cost and value management contexts
• •Profound project management experience
• •Business fluent German and English language skills (both written and spoken)
• •Highly analytical skills with strong communication, moderation, and presentation skills
• •Very good negotiation skills required (for negotiations with suppliers and customers)
• •Intercultural competence
• •Travel requirement up to 50%
