- •Conduct research in experimental optics and photonics
- •Focus on light-matter interactions and their applications
- •Explore advanced optical microscopy and biophotonics
- •Investigate light-enabled nanotechnology and nanophotonics
- •Utilize nonlinear optics and optical metrology
- •Develop optical quantum technology and ultrafast spectroscopy
- •Complement and strengthen the optics and photonics field at KIT
- •Engage with the Karlsruhe School of Optics & Photonics
- •Participate in the Karlsruhe Center for Optics & Photonics
- •Contribute to the excellence cluster 3D Matter Made to Order
- •Collaborate with Helmholtz programs on materials systems engineering
- •Support natural, artificial, and cognitive information processing
- •Commit to education with a teaching obligation of 9 hours per week
- •Teach at the BSc and MSc levels in the Department of Physics
- •Instruct within the MSc Program of the Karlsruhe School of Optics & Photonics
