•Conduct research in experimental optics and photonics
•Focus on light-matter interactions and their applications
•Explore advanced optical microscopy and biophotonics
•Investigate light-enabled nanotechnology and nanophotonics
•Utilize nonlinear optics and optical metrology
•Develop optical quantum technology and ultrafast spectroscopy
•Complement and strengthen the optics and photonics field at KIT
•Engage with the Karlsruhe School of Optics & Photonics
•Participate in the Karlsruhe Center for Optics & Photonics
•Contribute to the excellence cluster 3D Matter Made to Order
•Collaborate with Helmholtz programs on materials systems engineering
•Support natural, artificial, and cognitive information processing
•Commit to education with a teaching obligation of 9 hours per week
•Teach at the BSc and MSc levels in the Department of Physics
•Instruct within the MSc Program of the Karlsruhe School of Optics & Photonics
