Deine Aufgaben

• •Expand KIT's role in research, teaching, and innovation
• •Establish novel methods for designing and operating particle accelerators
• •Develop new concepts for future accelerators
• •Ensure efficient autonomous operation of existing accelerators
• •Implement innovative methods for operating accelerators in nonequilibrium states
• •Create accelerator designs with reduced size and improved stability
• •Enhance cost and energy efficiency of existing and novel systems
• •Diagnose and control instabilities in accelerators in real-time
• •Demonstrate research results at the Accelerator Technology Platform test facilities
• •Lead a working group on autonomous particle accelerators at IBPT
• •Participate in program-oriented funding from the Helmholtz Association
• •Research new accelerator technologies and electron beam control methods
• •Collaborate with colleagues in physics, electrical engineering, and computer science
• •Raise third-party funding from national and international sources
• •Support the transfer of scientific results into practical applications
• •Participate in teaching courses, special lectures, and export lectures
• •Execute large-scale research tasks with a teaching obligation of 6 hours per week per semester
