Anforderungen
- •Master's degree, Bachelor with honors, or Bachelor's with substantial experience
- •3-5 years experience with fast rotating machinery
- •Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics and mechanical design
- •Strong fundamentals of machine dynamics and rotordynamics
- •Strong knowledge about bearings and rolling elements
- •Good knowledge of materials
- •Understanding of manufacturing methods and constraints
- •Proficiency in 3D CAD software and drafting
- •Experience writing software or scripts in Python
- •Optional hands-on experience developing hardware prototypes
- •Strong ability to collaborate with others
- •Strong oral and written communication skills
- •Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- •Strong research and information inference skills
- •Drive for excellence under time constraints
- •Proficiency in organization and task prioritization

- •Make and document consequential turbomachinery design decisions
- •Collaborate with development engineers to refine and validate designs
- •Execute and review various turbopump architectural trades
- •Perform rotordynamics analyses to inform cryogenic pump specifications
- •Design and procure cryogenic pump components based on best practices
- •Supervise external subcontractors and communicate with suppliers
- •Model geometric and mechanical problems analytically
- •Implement technical solutions into programs
