Anforderungen

  • •Degree in Economics, Engineering, or related field.
  • •Completion of professional insurance qualification.
  • •Significant experience in Underwriting profitable business.
  • •Established relationships with brokers.
  • •Specialized understanding of local insurance markets.
  • •Good understanding of legal and regulatory framework.
  • •Ability to assess risk exposures and natural hazards.
  • •Design and implement consistent wordings.
  • •Ability to analyze complex data in detail.
  • •Ability to persuade and motivate others.
  • •Fluent German and English language skills.
  • •Experience with AI and ML is highly beneficial.

  • •Underwrite large new and renewal accounts.
  • •Grow the Renewables portfolio and other technologies.
  • •Negotiate pricing and terms with brokers.
  • •Manage capacity proactively.
  • •Underwrite according to governance framework.
  • •Ensure contract certainty at inception.
  • •Contribute to regional Underwriting strategy development.
  • •Train and coach less experienced staff.
  • •Represent Allianz Commercial to key brokers.
  • •Drive involvement of functional areas in Underwriting.
  • •Develop relationships with key brokers and clients.
