Anforderungen
- •MSc or equivalent degree in Chemistry
- •Expert in preparative organic synthesis up to kg-scale
- •>5 years of industrial experience in process chemistry or related field
- •Experienced user of different reactor sizes and scaleup equipment
- •Experienced in handling hazardous chemistry on scale
- •Experience in safe handling of highly valuable active pharmaceutical ingredients
- •Familiar with common process safety fundamentals and assessment techniques
- •Experienced in isolation and purification techniques
- •Expert in analytical methods such as LC/MS, NMR, GC/MS
- •Ability to document experimental work in an electronic lab notebook
- •Ability to independently plan and execute practical work
- •Well-organized with a hands-on attitude
- •Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- •Excellent command in spoken and written English
- •Excellent computer skills

Deine Aufgaben
- •Conduct organic synthesis for route scouting
- •Develop processes for production from gram to multi-kilogram scale
- •Optimize chemical reactions, including workup and product isolation
- •Maintain general scaleup equipment and manage dedicated technology
- •Source bulk chemicals from external suppliers with cost efficiency
- •Assess reaction profiles and analyze isolated compounds using TLC, LC/MS, GC/MS, NMR, or online techniques
- •Draw conclusions and propose alternative reaction conditions based on analysis
- •Measure and interpret advanced process safety data for chemical process adaptations
- •Plan daily practical work in collaboration with the lab team and responsible scientist
- •Document experimental work accurately in electronic lab notebook and project progress reports
- •Draft Master Operation Records for scaleup campaigns
- •Present research updates at internal group meetings
