Anforderungen

  • •PhD in bioinformatics, molecular biology, genetics, informatics, or related field
  • •Expertise in informatics, biology, omics, and biostatistics
  • •Intense interest, drive, and dedication to research schedule
  • •Command line use in Linux and mathematical/statistical expertise
  • •Programming languages Bash and Python (incl. NumPy and Pandas)
  • •Professional data management skills for NGS data and scientific datasets
  • •Professional skills in processing omics data and interest in spatial data
  • •Proven ability and dedication to write and publish high quality scientific manuscripts
Doktor / Ph.D.

Deine Aufgaben

  • •Integrate into the research agenda of CATCH ALL and the Liquid Biomarkers group
  • •Develop and conduct original research using medical multi-omics data
  • •Manage diverse multi-level data sets in CATCH ALL
  • •Provide bioinformatics solutions for research questions
  • •Store data in existing infrastructure (iRods and Yoda)
  • •Apply pipelines and develop new bioinformatics solutions
  • •Collaborate on EU projects like Instand-NGS4P and EASIGEN-DS
  • •Interact with clinicians and researchers at the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein
  • •Engage with external researchers nationally and internationally
