As a Sales Engineer, you will act as the technical bridge between Sales Representatives and customers, collaborating to address challenges and deliver tailored solutions. This role involves leading Proof-of-Concept engagements and building strong relationships while providing expert guidance on Trend Micro products.

Anforderungen

  • Drive and enthusiasm
  • Strong work ethic
  • Desire to learn and develop career
  • Experience in Cyber Security as architect, developer, network or systems engineer, or similar
  • 3+ years SE experience and/or professional services experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in computer software or systems including security products
  • Experience working with multi-cloud environments such as AWS, Azure or GCP
  • 2+ years SOC or IR experience (advantageous)
  • Experience in Pre-Sales with knowledge of value-based selling, consultative selling, and solution architecture
  • ITIL v3 or later certification (preferred)
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of cloud architectures
  • Experience with scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Strong time management skills
  • Fast learner with proactive approach to new tools and technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service, and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel regionally (approximately 30-35%)

  • Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) engagements
  • Help customers plan and implement Trend Micro solutions
  • Provide expert guidance on Trend Micro products
  • Build and maintain strong technical relationships with customers
  • Work closely with internal Sales, Channel, and Partner teams
  • Design and support cloud and security architectures
  • Offer innovative solutions to customer challenges
  • Partner with technology vendors to drive strategic alliances
  • Share best practices with the Sales Engineering team
  • Proactively manage technical relationships with customers
  • Collaborate with internal Sales, Marketing, and Partner teams
  • Contribute to the SE Readiness Program
  • Develop subject matter expertise in assigned products
