- •Support strategic permitting for operations
- •Understand regulatory frameworks and trends
- •Influence permitting and licensing requirements
- •Participate in land use and zoning plan processes
- •Conduct environmental impact assessments
- •Coordinate studies to prepare permits or licenses
- •Assess local environmental conditions to minimize impacts
- •Apply for permits and licenses with Operations
- •Engage with stakeholders throughout the permitting process
- •Support community engagement for operational teams
- •Provide expertise in reducing environmental impacts
- •Assist in reporting global KPIs for sustainability
- •Identify and assess compliance issues and risks
- •Train Operations on permit conditions and legal obligations
- •Work with Operations to ensure regulatory compliance
- •Identify environmental liabilities and propose actions
- •Conduct site audits and support audit processes
- •Report on site performance to the Director Sustainability
- •Manage legacy land access and closure plans
- •Negotiate land acquisition and disposal with Operations
- •Report on land acquisition and disposal progress
- •Prepare forest and nature management plans as required
- •Monitor land portfolio for risks and opportunities
- •Maintain an overview of land and lease contracts
- •Assist Operations with land user complaints
- •Provide input for land-related taxes to Finance
- •Support backfilling studies and monitor compliance
- •Manage closed sites to prevent environmental harm
- •Provide input for GIS mapping of spatial data
- •Support management of environmental impacts
- •Implement global environmental programs and propose improvements
- •Engage stakeholders and manage reputation
- •Contribute to sustainability communication efforts
- •Draft community engagement plans for discussion
