Major Item Repairman (MIR)(m/w/x)

As a Major Item Repairman in Germany, you will be hands-on with the Patriot Weapon system, executing modifications, performing diagnostics, and ensuring quality in repairs. This role involves a mix of technical inspections, equipment management, and adherence to safety protocols.

Anforderungen

• •Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
• •U.S. citizenship
• •Successful completion of Patriot System Intermediate Maintenance Course or equivalent
• •5 years of Intermediate level maintenance experience in support of the PATRIOT Air Defense System
• •Trained and knowledgeable in operation and troubleshooting of Patriot Missile System Radar
• •Knowledge in utilization of common industry external test equipment
• •Experience with Department of the Army Modification Work Order installations
• •Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance
• •U.S. citizenship
• •Familiarity working in depot and field type environments
• •5 years Patriot Depot Forward maintenance experience
• •Knowledge with operational/analytical software used on the Patriot System
• •Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills
• •Strong interpersonal skills
• •Experience with training of team members
• •Proficient with Microsoft Office
• •Ability to work in harsh climates and lift 50 lbs
• •Previous experience in International Patriot FMS Programs
• •Experience living and working in an overseas location
• •Experience with Contractor Logistics Support
• •Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant experience
• •Minimum of 4 years of field maintenance experience or High School Degree/GED with equivalent experience
• •Certified Patriot System Repairer (94S)
• •Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance
• •U.S. citizenship
