Internship - Learning-Based Optimal Control for Industrial Applications(m/w/x)

In this internship, you will dive into research at the crossroads of optimization, control theory, and machine learning, developing innovative control solutions and enhancing traditional methods with cutting-edge techniques.

Anforderungen

• •Enrollment in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Cybernetics, Mathematics or similar
• •Solid programming experience in Python, C/C++ or Matlab
• •Sound English skills in speaking and writing
• •Prior knowledge and experience in numerical optimization, control theory and machine learning
• •Strong interest in optimal control, model predictive control and related tools (e.g. CasADi)
• •Great attention to detail
• •Analytical and structured way of thinking
• •Readiness to tackle difficult problems, above-average motivation to implement and test models and algorithms, and proactiveness in overcoming challenges
