# Intern Neuromorphic Robotics and AI (f/m/x)
**A GOOD INTERNSHIP IS NEVER HANDS OFF.**
**SHARE YOUR PASSION.**
We believe in creating an environment where our interns really can learn by doing and where they are given their own areas of responsibility right from the start of their time with us. That’s why our experts will treat you as part of the team from day one, encourage you to bring your own ideas to the table – and give you the opportunity to really show what you can do.
At the RoboTac Lab, you support the integration of multi-modal interactive perception and learning technologies in robotics to enhance human-machine collaboration and mobility solutions.
**What awaits you?**
* You contribute to the development of the next generation of intelligent interactive vehicles and robotics.
* Here, you develop and test neuromorphic-based foundation models for multimodal inputs like vision, auditory, and tactile.
* Designing foundation model algorithms to improve robotic grasp and manipulation is part of your role.
* Additionally, you collaborate with experts in AI, robotics, and cognitive sciences.
**What should you bring along?**
* Studies in electrical, electronic, control engineering, computer science, or a comparable field.
* Knowledge of event-driven sensors and spiking neural networks.
* Familiarity with neuromorphic computing concepts and tools.
* Expertise in foundation models, transformers, robot learning, and computer vision.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
* Hands-on experience with robotics platforms like ROS2, Universal Robot, Panda Franka, robotic hands, and grippers.
* Exposure to hardware accelerators for AI applications such as GPUs, TPUs, or neuromorphic chips.
**What do we offer?**
* Comprehensive mentoring & onboarding.
* Personal & professional development.
* Flexible working hours.
* Digital offers & mobile working.
* Attractive & fair remuneration.
* Apartment offers for students (subject to availability & only Munich).
* And many other benefits - see **jobs/benefits**
