Anforderungen

  • At least 3 years of experience in incident communication, crisis management, or technical support operations
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical issues into clear, customer-friendly language
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams), status pages (status.io), and ticketing systems (Zendesk, Salesforce, JIRA)
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Experience in SaaS or enterprise software environments
  • Understanding industry standard incident workflows and escalation protocols
  • Comfort working across time zones and with global teams

Deine Aufgaben

  • Draft and publish updates on the status page
  • Create awareness in forums to guide customers through incidents
  • Provide timely incident updates to Sales, Customer Success, and Services teams
  • Identify affected customers for appropriate communication
  • Coordinate with Incident Commanders for clear incident management
  • Collaborate with geo-specific Communication Leads for consistency
  • Work with Technical Support on tickets from affected customers
  • Engage with other departments as needed
  • Refine Critical Incident communication guidelines and templates
  • Participate in post-incident reviews to suggest improvements
  • Support the rollout of new classification schemes
  • Report and review metrics to ensure communication objectives are met
