•PhD in biology, veterinary medicine, medicine, or comparable
•Proven leadership skills
•Extensive expertise in in vitro biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell biology
•Several years of professional experience in Pharma/Biotech Industry
•Deep understanding of (patho-)physiology of non-infectious diseases in companion animals
•Excellent communication skills
•Fluency in written and spoken English; willingness to improve in German

•Create new disease insights and leverage emerging knowledge
•Identify breakthrough opportunities for Animal Health
•Manage stakeholders within a matrix organization
•Integrate Animal Health into the local research structure
•Coordinate closely with the global Head of NID
•Shape the strategic vision for the division
•Oversee HR-related topics in Animal Health
•Ensure compliance with local requirements and EHS standards
•Maintain electronic laboratory documentation
