Anforderungen
- •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields
- •Formal qualification in networking (CCNA, CCDP, CCNP, WSCTA or equivalent)
- •Qualification in network security and/or ethical hacking
- •Solid understanding of Ethernet switching and routing (L2/L3), VLANs, STP, PoE, QoS, multicast
- •Knowledge of Wi-Fi standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), RF fundamentals, and wireless security
- •Familiarity with network management platforms, cloud-managed networking, and SDN concepts
- •Basic understanding of electronic design techniques and electronics production
- •3–5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Owner, or Engineering role within networking/IT infrastructure
- •Experience setting up office LAN/WAN end-to-end, including security considerations
- •Extensive experience configuring and managing network devices from multiple vendors
- •Experience in the configuration of Wi-Fi access points/client bridges, Ethernet switches and routers
- •Experience working in a Linux environment; knowledge of Linux OpenWRT distribution is an advantage
- •Experience of network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Wireshark)
- •Design specification experience for Hardware products
- •Experience working in the Railway industry
- •Knowledge about Railway Standard
- •Knowledge and experience working with standards for vehicular communication (CAN, IBIS, MVB)
- •Experience with RF designs
- •Experience working with Atlassian JIRA
- •Good English language both written and verbal
- •Experience using Microsoft Office products
- •Travel required occasionally
- •Strong engineering mindset
- •Good problem-solving capabilities with a methodical repeatable approach
- •Able to manage and prioritise workload using own initiative
- •Excellent communication skills and willingness to provide knowledge to the wider team
- •Adherence to existing work processes and ISO9001 quality standards
- •Strong team ethos to support the wider company in delivering quality solutions

Deine Aufgaben
- •Define and manage the product vision and strategy
- •Collaborate on the HW strategy aligned with the 3-year roadmap
- •Draft technical specifications for new and replacement hardware
- •Monitor market trends and competitor product roadmaps
- •Gather inputs from customers and sales teams for roadmap planning
- •Manage and prioritize the product backlog
- •Provide technical support for supplier selection and evaluation
- •Ensure products meet compliance standards with the Head of Rail Engineering Compliance
- •Conduct detailed inspections of initial production samples
- •Document all testing procedures, results, and FAI reports
- •Develop test plans for hardware products, including functional and performance testing
- •Plan and execute tests according to the established plan
