Experimental Engineer(m/w/x)

As an Experimental Engineer, you will engage in hands-on experimental work to solve technical challenges and manage laboratory operations. Your role will involve designing equipment, conducting tests, and ensuring that safety protocols are followed.

Anforderungen

• •Master’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or related technical discipline
• •Proven experience with experimental laboratory work with liquid metals
• •Familiarity with materials testing and characterization methods
• •Good knowledge of laboratory safety practices and standards
• •Good organizational and communication skills
• •Proficiency in German required (spoken and written)
• •Familiarity with fast reactors, Accelerator Driven System (ADS) technologies, or nuclear structural materials
• •Experience with liquid metal thermal-hydraulics systems
• •Solid knowledge of material behaviour under extreme environments
• •Hands-on experience with advanced characterization techniques and post-irradiation examination
