Anforderungen
- •Technical certificate, general secondary education, or equivalent relevant experience in electromechanical engineering or related field
- •Proven experience in manufacture and assembly of electromechanical devices
- •Proven experience in corrective and preventive maintenance of electromechanical devices
- •Proven experience in reading and understanding mechanical and electrical drawings
- •Experience in conventional mechanical machining
- •Experience in TIG/MIG welding and ideally brazing techniques
- •Experience in mechanical and/or electrical measurements
- •Construction, test, and installation of electromechanical equipment and systems
- •Operation and maintenance of electromechanical equipment and systems
- •Assembly of mechanical structures and equipment
- •Knowledge and application of joining techniques: welding, brazing, soldering
- •Teamwork skills and positive attitude
- •Accountability and reliability
- •Structured and organized approach to work
- •Flexibility in accepting new tasks
- •Spoken and written English or French, with commitment to learn the other language
- •Valid driving licence
- •Operations on electrical installations over 1000 Volt AC or 1500 Volt DC requiring specific authorisation

Deine Aufgaben
- •Participate in the refurbishment of normal conducting magnets
- •Manufacture and test normal conducting magnets in CERN workshops
- •Compile quality control documents related to magnet testing
- •Perform preventive maintenance on installed normal conducting magnets
- •Execute corrective maintenance interventions on magnets
- •Contribute to the design and development of tools and equipment
- •Procure components for refurbishment and production of magnets
