Anforderungen
- •Practical experience with electrical or electronic systems
- •Exposure to installation, testing, or commissioning of equipment
- •Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary technical teams
- •Ability to produce, manage, and update technical documentation
- •Proven organisational and problem-solving abilities
- •Knowledge of electrical and electronics fundamentals
- •Experience with power converter systems
- •Experience in equipment installation and commissioning
- •Experience with technical documentation
- •Teamwork and communication skills
- •Organisation and attention to detail
- •Spoken and written English or French
- •Nationality of a CERN Member or Associate Member State
- •Maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation
- •No previous CERN fellow or graduate contract
- •Ineligibility for applicants with a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree
- •Valid driving licence
- •Operations on electrical installations requiring specific authorization
- •Exposure to electromagnetic fields under certain conditions
- •Medical clearance required before contract offer

Deine Aufgaben
- •Collaborate with electromechanics to remove existing converters
- •Coordinate transport requests for old equipment evacuation
- •Support building consolidation activities and stakeholder needs
- •Organize and supervise transport and installation of new converters
- •Perform commissioning tests, including verifying electrical connections
- •Tune current regulation loops on operational loads
- •Test spare converters
- •Provide training to first-line support teams
- •Hand over validated equipment to operations teams
- •Produce and maintain up-to-date technical documentation
