Anforderungen
- •Background in electrical engineering or similar
- •Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools and analogue circuit simulations
- •Experience with electrical measurement equipment
- •Skilled in using programming and software tools to process, analyse and visualise complex datasets
- •Ability to document simulation and test results accurately
- •Motivation to work in a multidisciplinary and international environment
- •Spoken and written English, with a commitment to learn French
- •National of a CERN Member or Associate Member State
- •Master's degree with 2 to 6 years of post-graduation professional experience or PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience
- •Never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before
- •Work in Radiation Areas
- •Interventions in underground installations
- •A valid driving licence

Deine Aufgaben
- •Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on fast-pulsed systems development
- •Contribute to R&D efforts for optical fiber sensors and coating technologies
- •Conduct numerical simulations, including electromagnetic and thermal analyses
- •Prepare test setups and perform electrical and RF measurements
- •Participate in partial discharge testing
- •Develop and maintain scripts for post-processing analysis
- •Identify opportunities for automation with the team
- •Document simulation and experimental results
- •Contribute to the publication of scientific findings
