In this role, you will play a key part in validating licensed merchandise and ensuring it meets Nintendo's quality standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with suppliers, educating partners on guidelines, and managing product samples.

Anforderungen

  • 2 to 3 years of professional experience in merchandise approval or merchandise development
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design studies or comparable education
  • General knowledge of product development, including print methods, production process, material constraints, and general timelines
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Excellent spoken and written English language skills
  • Comfort with design and development processes, managing feedback from multiple sources, constructive criticism, and creative direction
  • Solution-oriented and results-driven with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Good project management and communication skills
  • Experience in handling multiple simultaneous projects
  • Structured working manner with attention to details and consistency
  • Strong interest in Nintendo products and Japanese culture
  • Experience in marketing material creation, coordination, and approval is a plus
  • Onsite presence in Frankfurt office at least 3 days per week to inspect physical samples
  • Submission of own portfolio is mandatory for the hiring process
  • Position might be Associate depending on professional experience

  • Validate licensed merchandise and Nintendo products
  • Ensure products align with company guidelines and quality standards
  • Accelerate the approval process with design proposals
  • Communicate adjustment points to suppliers and licensees
  • Educate partners on Nintendo IP guidelines and rules
  • Manage assets provided to licensees
  • Assist in developing process documents and training materials
  • Collect, organize, and archive product samples
  • Communicate with Nintendo merchandise teams in Japan and the US
  • Perform administrative and design tasks assigned by the supervisor
