- Valid US Passport for Germany deployment
- Qualification for TESA approval
- Travel in support of task order
- Physical ability to work tiring positions
- Frequent lifting up to 20 pounds
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
- Immediate deployability to combat areas
- Desirable military technical school or training
Tasks
- Perform military tactical aircraft maintenance
- Assemble and modify UH-60 aircraft systems
- Install and adjust fuel and lubrication systems
- Align fuselage parts and tail rotor assemblies
- Rig complete flight control systems
- Incorporate authorized aircraft modifications
- Conduct operational checks on hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions
- Direct the work of lower-graded mechanics
- Coordinate with electrical and avionics trades
- Inspect maintenance performed by other mechanics
- Repair engines and structural components
- Document entries in aircraft logbooks and records
- Utilize the Army's Logistics Information System
- Interpret complex technical data and publications
- Operate specialized aircraft tools and test equipment
