- Five years recent aircraft maintenance experience required
- FAA A&P or FCC Elements 1 and 3 required

- FCC License with Elements 1 and 3 and three years aviation maintenance experience required
- Willing to obtain FCC License
- Ability to obtain US Government Security Clearance required
- Interim NACI approval required for deployment
- Valid US Passport required for deployment to Germany
- TESA approval qualification required with five years aviation maintenance experience
- Travel as required in support of task order
- Good communication skills and adaptability required
- Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems required
- Knowledge of Quality Control and Production procedures required
- Ability to determine repair needs of systems required
- Skill in reading and interpreting technical data required
- Ability to work in uncomfortable positions required
- Ability to lift parts up to 20 pounds required
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be immediately deployable to combat areas worldwide
Tasks
- Perform full military tactical aircraft maintenance as a CH-47 mechanic.
- Repair and modify Army and DoD aircraft systems.
- Install and adjust fuel, hydraulic, and engine systems.
- Align fuselage parts and install tail rotor assemblies.
- Rig complete flight control systems.
- Incorporate authorized modifications and changes.
- Conduct operational checks of hydraulic and fuel systems.
- Inspect and troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft systems.
- Disassemble components to identify issues and repair them.
- Use hand tools and measuring devices for aircraft maintenance.
