CH-47 Aircraft Mechanic 2 - (A&P or FCC License)(m/w/x)

Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Five years aircraft maintenance experience
- FAA A&P or FCC Elements 1 and 3
- FAA (A&P) required with two years aviation maintenance experience
- Experience within the last five years
- FCC License with Elements 1 and 3
- Ability to obtain US Government Security Clearance
- Interim NACI approval required
- Valid US Passport required for deployment
- TESA Approval with five years aviation maintenance experience
- Travel as required in support of task order
- Good communication skills and adaptability
- Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of Quality Control and Production procedures
- Ability to determine faulty systems for repair
- Skill in reading and interpreting technical data
- Ability to work in tiring positions
- Frequently lift parts up to 20 pounds
- Occasionally lift objects up to 50 pounds
- Immediately deployable to combat areas worldwide
Tasks
- Perform full military tactical aircraft maintenance as a CH-47 mechanic.
- Repair and modify Army and DoD cross-service aircraft.
- Install and connect fuel, heat, lubrication, hydraulic, engine, and transmission systems.
- Align fuselage parts and install tail rotor assemblies.
- Rig complete flight control systems.
- Incorporate authorized modifications and changes.
- Conduct operational checks of hydraulic and fuel systems.
- Inspect and troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft systems.
- Disassemble components to identify issues and perform repairs.
- Use common hand tools and measuring devices effectively.
- Operate test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment for aircraft.
