- Ability to frequently lift parts and equipment up to 20 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift objects up to 50 pounds
- Immediate deployability to potential combat areas worldwide
Tasks
- Inspect complex aircraft mechanical and electromechanical systems
- Remove, install, repair, and replace aircraft components
- Modify, disassemble, and reassemble aircraft systems
- Calibrate aircraft systems according to maintenance manuals
- Perform receiving, in-process, and final quality inspections
- Conduct flight safety inspections and functional operational tests
- Approve or reject work completed by field team members
- Review and approve locally developed repair procedures
- Analyze defects and interpret quality control trends
- Monitor safety, training, and certification requirements
- Conduct daily work site safety inspections
- Perform Foreign Object Damage inspections
- Monitor tool control programs and maintain calibration records
- Maintain quality, safety, training, and certification records
- Coordinate with Customer Quality Assurance Representative on quality matters
- Inspect forms and records related to aircraft maintenance
- Perform other qualified duties as assigned
