Technical Inspector AH-64 Armament/Electrical Systems(m/w/x)

Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Five years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience
- FAA A&P or FCC Elements 1 and 3
- FAA A&P Certificate with one year of experience inspecting MDS AH-64 aircraft
- Five years of experience as an Aircraft Inspector on MDS AH-64 airframe or FCC License
- FAA IA - Inspection Authorization strongly preferred
- Five years of experience as an Aircraft Inspector (TI) on MDS AH-64 airframe
- Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization
- Interim NACI approval for deployment
- Valid US Passport for deployment to Germany
- TESA approval qualification with five years aviation maintenance experience
- Travel as required in support of task order
- Good communication skills, adaptability, and troubleshooting capability
- Working knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical systems principles
- Knowledge of Quality Control, Production and Supply procedures
- Ability to determine repair needs for faulty systems or assemblies
- Skill in reading, applying, and interpreting technical data
- Ability to work in tiring and uncomfortable positions
- Ability to frequently lift parts and equipment up to 20 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift objects up to 50 pounds
- Immediate deployability to potential combat areas worldwide
Tasks
- Conduct thorough inspections on AH-64D/E armament and electrical systems
- Perform quality checks and acceptance verifications for maintenance actions
- Execute complex troubleshooting and system diagnostics on armament subsystems
- Review and sign off on aircraft maintenance forms and inspection records
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to technicians during maintenance
- Coordinate with production and engineering to resolve technical discrepancies
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental regulations
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in the Quality Control section
- Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO and U.S. Army Aviation standards
- Perform quality and flight safety inspections during maintenance and repairs
- Approve or reject work completed by field team members
- Review and approve locally developed procedures for repairs
- Analyze defects and interpret quality control rejection trends
- Monitor safety, training, and certification requirements
- Conduct daily work site safety inspections using checklists
- Monitor tool control programs and maintain calibration records
- Maintain Quality, Safety, Training, and Certification Records
- Coordinate with the Customer Quality Assurance Representative on quality matters
- Inspect forms and records related to aircraft maintenance
- Perform other qualified duties as assigned
