Sr. Account Manager - Semiconductor(m/w/x)
Managing sales and profitability for advanced ceramics used in semiconductor manufacturing. 5-8 years technical account management with semiconductor client experience required. Client-facing role with regional travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- 5-8 years technical account management experience
- Experience managing semiconductor customer relationships
- Knowledge of Semi OEM materials usage
- Understanding of customer and market dynamics
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements
- Understanding of future technology trends
- Negotiation, value pricing, and contract skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience within SalesForce
- Ability to work with diverse cultures
- Willingness to travel to customer locations
Tasks
- Lead account plan execution to meet sales and profitability goals
- Represent the company as the primary internal and external contact
- Monitor market developments to optimize revenue opportunities
- Guide customer conversations regarding industry market dynamics
- Develop new regional accounts to grow revenue and wallet share
- Expand existing partnerships through portfolio selling and relationship building
- Liaise across departments to manage diverse customer needs
- Review contracts and manage technical order information
- Implement value pricing and provide ongoing technical support
- Forecast customer requirements through the S&OP process
- Analyze the feasibility of long-term customer contract agreements
- Facilitate corrective actions and root cause analysis for complaints
- Provide timely responses to order and quote status requests
- Support the product portfolio at industry trade shows
- Maintain pipeline and account plans within the CRM system
- Manage customer payment terms and ensure strict adherence
- Share market intelligence with strategic teams for comprehensive insights
- Mentor other account managers on customer pathway execution
