Requirements

- Biofeedback certification (BCIA), neurofeedback certification (BCIA), or International QEEG Certification Board (IQCB) certification may be required
- Experience or willingness to receive training in computerized neurocognitive testing interpretation
- Ability to lift and manipulate loads up to 25 kilograms
- Capability to meet physical demands of training with SOF including hiking, functioning in austere environments, and using various transport
- State license to practice in mental health, counseling, psychology, or social work is beneficial, not required
- Current, full, active, unrestricted license to practice in any U.S. States, D.C., Guam, Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin Islands for healthcare professionals
- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Previous military background/experience
- Compliance with Safety, Health and Environmental plan, policies and procedures
- Compliance with Quality Assurance plan, policies and procedures
- Maintain regular and acceptable attendance
- Completion of all required training
- Perform other assignments and duties as required
Tasks
- Interpret test results and provide feedback to Service Members
- Offer recommendations based on assessment outcomes
- Connect Service Members with additional POTFF or medical resources
- Conduct biofeedback and neurofeedback training
- Train active duty personnel in cognitive and behavioral skills
- Enhance attention, problem-solving, emotional regulation, and energy management
- Improve memory, interpersonal skills, and goal-setting
- Address mTBI-related deficits and compensatory mechanisms
- Advise unit leadership on mental performance and performance psychology
- Participate in meetings with POTFF staff and medical personnel
- Collaborate to enhance human performance development
- Review and identify opportunities for service improvement
- Develop and distribute training materials
- Support performance research under POTFF leadership
- Provide educational briefings to units and commands
- Utilize required computers, software, and technologies
- Document work and all requested information
