Requirements
- •U.S. Citizenship
- •DoD Secret, Top Secret Clearance, or ability to obtain one
- •Master of Social Work or equivalent degree from CSWE accredited school
- •Current unrestricted clinical license for independent social work practice
- •Credentialing requirements in good standing at local MTF
- •Minimum two years clinical social work experience in mental health
- •Knowledge of professional standards and ethics in social work
- •Experience in brief behavioral interventions
- •Ability to receive and maintain clinical practice privileges
- •Compliance with Safety, Health and Environmental policies
- •Compliance with Quality Assurance policies and procedures
- •Regular and acceptable attendance
- •Completion of all required training
- •Prior military or SOF experience highly desired
- •Experience in Government settings like DOD or VA MTF

- •Integrate wellness for service members and families
- •Conduct behavioral assessments and interviews
- •Diagnose psychological and neuropsychological disorders
- •Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy
- •Perform couple's therapy and drug treatment evaluations
- •Engage in quality improvement and staff meetings
- •Conduct applied research and clinical investigations
- •Consult with medical, legal, and military authorities
- •Maintain accurate medical records and evaluation reports
- •Participate in military-specific training
- •Supervise unlicensed providers or trainees
- •Assess treatment adherence and symptom severity
- •Help patients overcome barriers to treatment
- •Educate patients on mental health conditions
- •Manage patient information in registries
- •Staff difficult cases with consulting providers
- •Perform comprehensive case management functions
