Special Operations Human Performance Advisor(m/w/x)
Designing and implementing human performance services for military operations. Master's degree and five years of specialized experience required. Relocation assistance and 401K with company match.
Requirements
- US Citizenship
- Secret or Top Secret Clearance
- Master’s degree in exercise science, health science, or physical education-related discipline
- Minimum five years specialized experience in similar work
- History of positive results from HPA work and relevant experience in collegiate/professional athletic environment
- Experience conducting multi-domain programming (lecture, multi-media, practical hands-on training) related to strength, conditioning, performance nutrition, and team dynamics
- Specialized experience conducting long and short-range planning and coordination of new functional training and nutrition programs
- Current certification as Certified Athletic Trainer, CSCS, SCCC, Physical Therapist, CC-AASP, CSSD, or Performance Dietitian
- Long and short-range planning and coordination of sport/mission-specific performance programs with attributable results at collegiate, Olympic, professional, or SOF levels
- Prior military and/or SOF experience desired
- Compliance with Safety, Health and Environmental plan, policies and procedures
- Compliance with Quality Assurance plan, policies and procedures
- Maintain regular and acceptable attendance
- Completion of all required training
- Perform other assignments and duties as required
Tasks
- Coordinate technical expertise for Human Performance programs
- Plan and develop technical training and guidance
- Synchronize programmatic and policy recommendations
- Secure and protect operator readiness across military operations
- Design and implement human performance services
- Provide daily oversight of human performance services
- Offer objective feedback to HP lead and chain of command
- Conduct inventory of Human Performance supplies and resources
- Prepare equipment and supply requisitions
- Acquire preventive maintenance for Human Performance equipment
- Present new and emerging equipment for purchase consideration
- Oversee and advise on HP staff training and travel
- Develop and distribute training materials
- Collect and report data to HP program Manager and USSOCOM HQ
- Document work and information in HP database
- Attend and promote interdisciplinary meetings
- Utilize required computers, software, and technologies
- Maintain 100% compliance with local command training requirements
