Senior Process Manager Pyro & Grinding(m/w/x)

Description

You will drive operational excellence by auditing cement plants and optimizing complex pyro and grinding processes. Your expertise will shape technical designs and strategic investments across the organization.

Requirements

• •Bachelor’s or University degree in engineering
• •8–10 years cement industry experience
• •Very good cement industry process knowledge
• •Strong operational knowledge
• •Good business economics cost awareness
• •Knowledge of manufacturing pyro-process and equipment
• •Advantageous clinker and cement chemistry knowledge
• •Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
• •Problem analysis and corrective action selection
• •Organizational skills and self‑management
• •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• •Creativity and decision-making determination
• •Fluency in English
• •Willingness to travel extensively

Tasks

• •Consult cement plants on production and process optimization
• •Troubleshoot grinding and pyroprocess equipment issues
• •Lead performance tests and plant audits
• •Evaluate operational coefficients and key performance indicators
• •Develop grinding and pyroprocess improvement initiatives
• •Identify technical bottlenecks and initiate corrective actions
• •Conduct process improvement and financial payback studies
• •Ensure installations meet ATEX and pollution regulations
• •Support process design and technology selection activities
• •Review flow sheets and mass balance calculations
• •Perform process-related risk assessments and functional analyses
• •Manage investment and non-investment project feasibility studies
• •Lead commissioning for new or upgraded systems
• •Support master plans and Capex planning procedures
• •Conduct technical due diligence for acquisition projects
• •Strengthen group-wide knowledge management and best practices
• •Train plant personnel on operational and optimization techniques
