Requirements
- •At least 5 years of professional experience as an HR generalist, in HR operations, or in a similar position
- •University degree in human resources, social psychology, or a related field
- •Practical knowledge of German labor law
- •Practical experience in all phases of the HR lifecycle
- •Practical knowledge of general labor law matters in different regions and continents, as well as cultural differences
- •Ability to build relationships and collaborate with various stakeholders within and outside HR
- •Patient listener with empathy for all colleagues who want to provide feedback and be heard
- •Creative approach to problem-solving
- •Excellent communication skills and conflict resolution skills
- •Strong focus on employees and the company, understanding of the business model and the company's direction
- •Initiative and a mindset for continuous improvement
- •Fluent German language skills - both written and spoken
- •Fluent English language skills – C1 level, both written and spoken
- •Ability to deal with ambiguity in a dynamically changing environment

Tasks
- •Serve as the primary HR contact for the Plant Manager and their team
- •Collaborate closely with the local Works Council on HR matters
- •Assist with budget and headcount planning for the plant
- •Recruit hourly employees, from creating job requisitions to onboarding
- •Manage the offboarding process for departing employees
- •Identify and expand recruiting channels for hourly positions
- •Participate in job and training fairs to attract candidates
- •Conduct HR employee conversations to address concerns and feedback
- •Define and implement personnel measures with HR managers and directors
- •Prepare and implement salary reviews and adjustments with the Compensation & Benefits team
- •Execute talent reviews in cooperation with the plant manager
- •Prepare and implement development and talent management measures with the central Talent Management team
- •Create succession plans for key positions and define development plans
- •Support Performance Management (PIP) cases as needed
- •Assist in Ethics and Compliance investigations with HR leadership
- •Develop and design HR processes and tools for efficiency
- •Identify and define HR best practices at the plant
- •Manage and implement local HR projects and global initiatives for the Wuppertal plant
- •Participate in HR initiatives and projects across Germany and Europe
- •Evaluate employee engagement survey results and implement action plans
- •Define, update, and review job descriptions with functional departments
- •Collaborate with local and regional HR teams, Talent Acquisition, and Payroll & HR Operations
- •Act as a contact for external partners on HR issues, such as the Trade Inspectorate
