Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of employment law
- At least 5–8 years of experience in similar role
- Extremely strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues
- Love for dynamic international environment, specifically in the People team
- Knowledge and experience in Agile people practices (plus)
- Knowledge of crafting policies and guidelines for employee experience (EX) in hybrid work environment
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in German
- Other languages (plus)
- Ability to operate, drive results and set priorities independently
- Enjoyment in supporting people improving their jobs
- Encouragement to apply even if not meeting 100% of criteria
Tasks
- Serve as a contact for Site Management, Works Councils, and Trade Unions
- Support TomTom’s performance management approach
- Address employee queries and job-related issues
- Conduct restructurings and reorganizations
- Handle individual cases like illness and terminations
- Promote employee well-being and TomTom’s ‘we care’ value
- Support personal development of employees
- Mentor managers and employees on conflict handling and grievance
- Contribute to global and local projects
