Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience in complex business software/IT solutions
- Sales experience in healthcare industry and public sector (advantageous)
- Proven success in business application software sales
- Proven success in leading team-selling environments
- Ability to handle large transactions
- Ability to handle lengthy sales campaigns
- Experience in fast-paced, competitive market
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience in renewals, expansions, and up-sells of subscription-based solutions
- Team lead experience (strong plus)
- Full working proficiency in German
- Full working proficiency in Business English
- Proficiency in additional languages (plus)
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
- Strategic thinking
- High degree of creativity and innovation
- Strong executive presence
- Results-driven mindset
- Ability to work across multiple teams in a matrix organization
Tasks
- Strategically position SAP as a digitalization partner for public administration
- Understand customer technology landscapes, strategic goals, and competitive environments
- Devise sustainable market strategies
- Manage demand generation and pipeline progression
- Identify and execute up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
- Deploy appropriate teams for successful sales outcomes
- Control cloud and license opportunities with consulting and partners
- Stay informed about SAP’s competition
- Maintain accurate customer and pipeline information in CRM systems
- Lead remote and cross-functional teams
- Align team efforts with customer strategic objectives
- Develop and mentor team members
- Maximize team efficiency and foster a winning attitude
