Public Sales Specialist – Storage & Data Services(m/w/x)
In this hybrid role, you will engage with public sector clients to position HPE's storage and data services, focusing on building strong relationships and driving business outcomes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve identifying customer needs, promoting innovative solutions, and leading projects from start to finish.
Requirements
- Academic degree in business administration or similar
- +5 years of sales experience with complex IT solutions in public account segment
- Profound knowledge of the storage and data services market
- Ability to take sales responsibility for storage and data services
- Sales excellence in building a sales pipeline, forecasting and customer management
- Eagerness to develop deep knowledge of products and solutions
- Distinctive customer orientation and consulting skills
- Team- and goal-oriented work
- Creativity, initiative and reliability
- Excellent communication, presentation, and closing skills
- Business fluency in German and English language
Tasks
- Position HPE Storage products and data services for selected public accounts
- Expand and develop long-term relationships with customers and channel partners
- Focus on business outcomes using GreenLake offerings and private cloud solutions
- Identify customers seeking scalable private cloud solutions with HPE PCBE
- Drive adoption of HPE VM Essentials for optimizing workloads and simplifying virtualization
- Promote Zerto’s data protection and disaster recovery portfolio
- Develop a deep understanding of customer business drivers for sustainable solutions
- Lead projects from initial contact to contract conclusion, managing the lifecycle
- Collaborate with Digital Sales, Sales Support, Presales, and other teams
