Policy Manager Country Requirements(m/w/x)
Drafting, developing, and reviewing forest stewardship standards and SOPs for a global community. Strong writing and coordination skills required. Hybrid work, 30 vacation days yearly.
Requirements
- University degree in relevant field or Master's
- Strong writing skills for drafting documents
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High accuracy, diligence, proactiveness, solution-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft 365, Power BI, Dynamics
- Experience with GIS tools and forest policy/certification
- Fluency in English; French fluency is an advantage
Tasks
- Lead drafting, developing, maintaining, and reviewing FSC normative documents and SOPs
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders on normative documents
- Manage maintenance, improvement, and monitoring of technological tools and databases
- Plan, facilitate, and report on meetings, webinars, trainings, and events
- Support procurement activities and funding streams for Risk Assessments and FSS
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor
- Identify, design, develop, implement, and communicate technological solutions for Country Requirements
- Collaborate with the Policy Solutions team to create innovative digital tools
- Oversee the lifecycle of digital tools, ensuring usability and continuous improvement
- Lead alignment of technical needs, internal systems, and process outcomes for FSS and RA
- Serve as a supporting reviewer for Country Requirements processes
- Develop internal tools for FSC staff and standard developers in Risk Assessment and FSS
