Requirements
- •Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field
- •Minimum 6 years of experience in Trade, Customs, or related finance/operational roles
- •Experience in SAP GTS, HTS and ECCN classification assignment
- •Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- •English and German fluency
- •French language skills

- •Develop policies and procedures for customs regulatory compliance
- •Deliver global training to relevant stakeholders across all functions
- •Establish and update trade compliance processes and procedures
- •Lead resolution during import and customs compliance audits
- •Manage contracts and renewals for third-party brokers in EMEA
- •Oversee HTS classification process and support the Classification team
- •Implement global trade compliance assessments and manage improvements
- •Manage EMEA trade systems and lead new module implementations
- •Ensure compliance with customs special procedures like IPR and OPR
- •Resolve origin determination and Free Trade Agreement qualification issues
- •Participate in Supply Chain Security and Import Compliance Programs
- •Maintain customs records in line with Aptiv and legal requirements
- •Drive duty savings projects using trade data analytics
- •Resolve operational compliance emergencies and make compliance decisions
- •Analyze import/export data for duty mitigation opportunities
- •Provide due diligence and M&A support
- •Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, Tax, Finance, and Sites
