Requirements
- 7+ years post qualification experience
- Sophisticated law firm experience
- Qualified to practice as an attorney in Germany
- Experience advising multinational organizations on complex global matters
- Experience in a corporate legal environment with increasing levels of responsibility
- Ability to handle complex legal matters and develop solutions-oriented strategies
- Ability to work independently and manage global, complex projects
- Ability to build consensus on complex legal and business issues
- Ability to oversee legal and compliance technology platforms
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English
Tasks
- Advise business teams on legal issues
- Collaborate with support functions on compliance and litigation
- Coordinate with corporate legal teams for consistent approaches
- Draft, negotiate, and review contracts with stakeholders
- Develop strategies to maximize contractual benefits
- Analyze and resolve disputes with customers and suppliers
- Manage legal support for Aptiv subsidiaries in EMEA
- Advise on compliance and investigation matters
- Provide legal counsel on employment issues
- Lead disputes and litigation from start to resolution
