Requirements
- Vocational training as a freight forwarding agent, industrial clerk, or degree in business administration, finance, or related field
- Experience with customs procedures, Union Customs Code (UCC), and EU regulations
- Experience with special economic procedures, private international law (PIL), and international private international law (IPR)
- Sound knowledge of Dakosy GE, MS Office, and SAP R/3 & GTS
- Analytical thinking and quick comprehension
- Flexibility, resilience, and ability to concentrate
- Organizational skills, reliability, and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Very good written and spoken German skills and good English skills
Tasks
- Prepare customs declarations for import and export
- Review customs invoices and tax assessments from external service providers
- Communicate with internal business units, suppliers, forwarders, consignees, and warehouse keepers
- Prepare all customs-related documents and support audits
- Provide customs advice and support to business units and group companies
- Communicate with customs authorities
