IT Support Specialist in the international development cooperation(m/w/x)
Resolving IT issues via phone, remote, and on-site for international development cooperation. IT customer support experience required. Job ticket, job bike, and gym membership support.
Requirements
- Relevant IT degree or vocational training
- Experience in IT customer support
- Excellent understanding of Windows platforms, OS, servers
- Good knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software, peripherals
- Analytic thinking, problem diagnosis and troubleshooting
- High personal commitment, task completion, prioritization
- High service orientation and customer focus
- Good attention to details
- Team player, knowledge sharing, collaboration, open communication
- Solid understanding of ITIL and ISO/IEC 20000 standards
- Very good English language skills and intercultural competence
- German language skills are an advantage
Tasks
- Respond to IT queries and issues via phone, remote, and on-site
- Manage IT requests in Ivanti Neurons for ITSM
- Assess and resolve basic technical issues
- Route complex IT problems to the appropriate team
- Diagnose and resolve environmental and software issues
- Ensure system availability and stability through updates and patches
- Assist with user on- and off-boarding
- Manage user access rights
- Support IT workstations (hardware and software, MS Windows 11, M365 suite, SfB)
- Update and maintain IT documentation
- Manage IT purchases, including orders and delivery
- Provide on-site IT support, including travel to different locations
Work Experience
- 1 - 2 years
Education
- Vocational certificationOR
- Bachelor's degree
